Childhood and Adolescent Therapy
It is true, children are resilient, probably more resilient than we give them credit for. Just like us though, they have human experiences. I see and accept my clients for who they are and accept them where they are at. The vulnerability that is required throughout childhood transition leads to a need for safety and security. Understanding vulnerability while encouraging growth in my clients is a skill that I continue to practice. I utilize my understanding to offer the security that is needed to navigate the challenges facing children of all ages.
Children and adolescents alike are subject to mental health struggles. Mental health struggles are deeply unique and personal to every client. I practice a client-focused approach to therapy that offers an opportunity for growth specific to every individual.
